Bitcards

The bitcoin you can actually hand someone.

It ships with half a key. The other half doesn't exist until your phone makes it. Load it, wrap it, hand it over. From then on it works like cash: whoever holds it, owns it.

Never sent. Never stored.

Your half of the key is 12 words made by your own phone, offline if you like. There is nothing to phish and no database to hack, because there is no database.

Nobody can freeze it. Not even us.

The card's address cannot exist until your words do, so it arrives empty by mathematics, not by promise. You load it from your own wallet, and from then on it answers to whoever holds it.

Opens with a phone camera.

Scan, peel, follow the phone. The bitcoin sweeps into Sparrow, Electrum or any normal wallet. No app, no account, nothing to learn first.

WHY IT'S YOURS

We made half the key. It can't spend a thing.

OUR HALFprinted and sealed on the card12 WORDSYOUR HALF12 words, made on your phone together, they are the one key. it spends.

// apart, neither half moves anything. we never see yours.

WORKS EVEN IF WE DISAPPEAR. DON'T TRUST IT, CHECK IT.

yours to keep

And the cost of all that: no words = no bitcoin · no backup. Lose the card or the words and nobody can bring it back. Not even us.
